• Identify important design options for both wood and metal railing frames that ensure they are structurally sound and will support the tension of properly installed cables.
• Classify essential cable assembly components, such as fixed ends and tension adjustment fittings, as well as options for custom cable assemblies.
• Describe the installation process for prefabricated cable kits and custom cable assemblies and discuss how to determine the best choice of cable for a railing project.
