Restrooms and other plumbing applications must comply with accessibility regulations, but do you know exactly how to do that? This course is a handy reference that explains: What codes and regulations you must satisfy, when those requirements apply to new construction and alterations, and how to select and install fixtures to meet accessibility standards.

Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

  • Identify which accessibility regulations and standards apply to plumbing fixtures in their projects.
  • Specify plumbing fixtures and accessories that comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Housing Act, and the International Building Code®.
  • Recall key plumbing installation requirements that must be met for fixtures to meet accessibility regulations and standards.
  • Describe plumbing fixture features that meet universal design principles.
