Active Roofing Surfaces – A Sustainable Approach to Air Quality

An exploration of commercial roofing technologies that contribute to improved air quality, demonstrating how sustainability in roofing can serve as a meaningful way to give back to our environment. For granulated cap sheets, smog-reducing technology can be an option to specify for roofing performance, whether designing for schools, manufacturing sites, government buildings or other organization, incorporating a smog-reducing feature into a commonly used roofing materials for low slop or steep slope can add value to the client.
