Provides an overview of perforated metal, including its history, applications, specifying standard and custom perforated metal, along with a discussion on how it is used to sculpt light, control sound, and compose views.
Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:
- Discuss the history, features, and uses of perforated metal products.
- Explain how perforated metal is used as a valuable tool for composing light and views, orchestrating sound, and managing HVAC flow.
- Discuss the manufacturing process and available finishes of perforated metal.
- State the factors that influence perforating costs and specification considerations.
