• Testing and Certifications Due to the roofing system's critical role in protecting the entire building, high-quality standing seam metal roofing undergoes stringent testing and accreditation procedures.
• Standing Seam Basics To understand the details of standing seam metal roofs and walls, it helps to recognize such common industry terms as standing seam, concealed fasteners, exposed fasteners, and insulated metal panels.
• There are four major steel paint finishes for standing seam metal panels Galvalume Plus, metallic paints, SP (Silicone Polyester), and Kynar. We'll look at each one separately.
