Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

• Contrast the insulation types with a focus on the environmental benefits of EPS insulation, including recyclability, long-term thermal resistance, and environmentally friendly manufacturing process.
• Discuss the types of EPS roofing insulation, membranes, coatings, and accessories designed to ensure sustainability, energy efficiency, and protection from the elements.
• State the U.S. and Canadian building codes and standards for roofing assemblies that must be considered to ensure building safety.
