Exploring Rolling Doors & Commercial Sectional Doors: Understanding the Application, Operation, Installation & Design Options

In this one hour live course, design professionals will gain an understanding about the Operation, Installation, Safety & Design Options available for Commercial Rolling and Commercial Sectional Garage Doors, which will help determine the best door type to utilize for a particular application.

Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

• Participants will gain an understanding of how rolling doors and commercial sectional doors operate and function as part of a building.
• Participants will be made aware of the installation criteria requirements for various operation types for rolling and commercial sectional doors, as it relates to side room, backroom and headroom.
• Participants will be able to identify optional safety features available for commercial sectional and rolling doors to and how to integrate these features into a door specification.
• Review the common design options for rolling & sectional doors including security, durability, wind-load, aesthetics and special applications. Participants will gain an understanding how these options can influence and enhance a project’s design.
