Solutions in the Design Process Utilizing Security Grilles

This course will examine the use of Security Grille Doors in the design process. Participants will learn about the main operation choices, mounting, layout and aesthetic design options and which of these are best suited to achieve desired project goals including safety, visual access, air circulation and aesthetics.

Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

• Participants will be able to recognize the main operation choices for grille doors and how to choose the correct product when specifying a job.
• Participants will gain an understanding of curtain and panel material choices and how they work to achieve continuity in your design.
• Participants will be able to define typical applications for grille doors to achieve project goals including visibility, airflow, and security.
• Participants will understand the various available mounting options and will be describe the layout options for side folding doors and learn how they can influence or complement the overall building design and integrity of your project
