Importance of elevators and lifts in today's design industry in order to create barrier free access for all users

Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

• Attendees will analyze ADA regulations for lifts and elevators and how they impact design and use to comply with accessibility for handicap.
• Attendees learn about the different types of elevators and lifts and understand the differences with each product design to aid people with disabilities.
• Attendees will learn about code compliances and how they apply to the safety of persons with disabilities.
• Attendees will understand the applications of lifts and elevators to solve accessibility problems and comply with ADA regulations.
• Attendees will review the challenges and some solutions for the evacuation of persons with disabilities.
