This course will better inform the designer on quartz, the history, its relationship with quartz surfacing materials and the manufacturing process of quartz surfacing materials. Design professionals will learn the differences between solid surfaces, stone surfaces and quartz surfaces. A comparison of other surfacing options will be discussed, as well as using quartz surfaces in healthcare system applications.
