This Health Product Declaration supports material transparency for project teams pursuing informed product selection, documentation, and LEED v4/v4.1 Option 1 credit pathways. FIRE TROL® fireproof column types OS and SO by United Steel provide prefabricated, load-bearing steel column solutions engineered for fire-rated building assemblies. Each column combines a structural steel core with concrete and vermiculite fireproofing, protected by a durable non-load-bearing steel outer shell. Rated and labeled by Underwriters Laboratories for 2-, 3-, and 4-hour fire-retardant classifications in accordance with ASTM E119, the columns are also manufactured to align with current AISC and ACI specifications.
