Marmomacc – The International Exhibition of Marble Stone and Technology
The most important international trade show for the stone industry is Marmomacc. Held annually at Veronafiere (in late September to early October), Marmomacc is an international showcase of commercially-available materials and machinery attracting more than 1,400 exhibitors and over 62,000 trade visitors from 120 countries. It is an ideal venue to directly source stone for commercial projects and to see the full spectrum of materials available for residential applications. Each year, the show also features a number of architectural exhibits and conferences devoted to designing with dimensional stone. Veronafiere organizes a five-day long AIA Continuing Education course during Marmomacc. The goal of the course is to encourage the use of natural stone in contemporary architecture. Veronafiere has been an AIA/CES provider since 1999. In the past six years, more than 90 architects from the U.S. were joined by 70 architects from around the world in attending the course.
