The 5th annual National GreenBuilding Conference will focus on important energy efficiency and sustainability topics delivered by key industry speakers. Learn the latest information and best practices for sustainable design and construction, energy efficient technologies, and environmental trends that can enhance the performance of new and existing buildings.
This year, the International Architectural Roundtable: Radical Pragmatism will delve into the new modes of practice emerging from traditional approaches to design. A panel of experts will discuss the effects of advanced research, collaboration and advocacy on the 21st-century city. The International Interior Design Roundtable: Local Influence on Global Design will explore how design is evolving to incorporate regional design in a global business environment or if there should be a universal design ethos for a multinational company with worldwide offices.
Master speakers will spotlight hot issues in the city with Greening the Gardiner and in companies across Canada with Winning the War for Young Talent and Succession Planning. In Greening the Gardiner, a panel, led by David Crombie, former mayor of the City of Toronto, will discuss the economic and design feasibility of Toronto’s Green Ribbon. In Winning the War for Young Talent and Succession Planning, John Izzo will be joined by three senior executives who will share their strategies for succession planning and developing young talent.
