Ecofill® Star - A Mondo White Paper

Serious concerns are being raised about the potential health and environmental risks associated with the use of crumb rubber (waste recycled tires) in synthetic turf fields. As a result, a number of states have introduced legislation that bans the installation of synthetic or artificial turf fields until further research has been conducted. Mondo's Ecofill® Star, a polyolefin-based resilient granule, is a safe alternative that does not contain any of the potentially harmful substances in crumb rubber infill.

Click on the link below to find out more from an independent study on the potential health and environmental risks associated with the use of crumb rubber (waste recycled tires) in synthetic turf fields.
