The European Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ECEEE) has recognized The Weidt Group for "most innovative method or result" for its energy conservation work on The Science Museum of Minnesota's Science House. Given at Europe's main energy efficiency event, the Summer Study, The Weidt Group's presentation illustrated the design strategies and solutions that resulted in the Science House's ability to produce more energy than it uses on an annual basis.
