ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--As a part of a continued commitment to sustainable practices, Aggregate Industries US announced today it has entered into a partnership with the US Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA’s) Climate Leaders program. By becoming a Climate Leaders partner, Aggregate Industries US has pledged to reduce its company-wide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The company also announced that it has established a new partnership with the Cool Climate Concrete (C3) program. This effort will allow Aggregate Industries to provide carbon offset credits gained from the use of supplementary cementitious materials in the production of ready mixed concrete. The partnerships were announced during the International Greenbuild Conference and Expo in Chicago, Illinois.
