LEED is the USGBC's leading edge system for designing and constructing green, energy efficient, high performing buildings. The F-Wing Expansion provides additional classrooms and faculty offices within the academic core of the Stockton campus. A central feature of the addition is the sky-lit, two-story atrium, which adds a large public gathering space to the building and provides daylight to the interior of the F-Wing. The F-Wing Expansion was designed to achieve LEED Certification for energy use, lighting, water and material use as well as incorporating a variety of other sustainable strategies. LEED verifies environmental performance, occupant health and financial return.
