Cedar Valley, the leader in handcrafted shingle siding announces the approval and listing of our new “California Stack” shingle panel line by the California State Fire Marshal. This line of western red cedar shingle siding panels have passed the SFM test standards as outlined by 12-7A-1 & are listed in the California WUI Compliance Products Handbook. In independent testing by Western Fire Center, the California Stack panel system passed fire tests over a 7/16 OSB sheathing for siding applications. Based on “worst case” testing, all exposures above 4.25 are approved for use.
