Rohm and Haas Highlights Sustainability with Performance at European Coatings Congress

FRANKFURT--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Heightened consumer desire for greener, non-polluting, better eco-designed products is the backdrop for presentations by specialty materials company Rohm and Haas (NYSE: ROH) at the upcoming European Coatings Congress in Nürnberg, Germany. Running from March 30th to April 1st in parallel with the European Coatings Show, participants from the global coatings community will be exposed to the most recent research results and industrial developments for advanced coatings. Rohm and Haas is well represented at the Congress with members of the company’s technical team presenting a number of papers devoted to topics that support the central theme of the Congress: how to address today’s challenges of increasing customer and legislative demands for enhanced coatings performance, and greater environmental benefit. Chairing Congress Session 16 on Waterborne Coatings II on Tuesday, March 31st, will be Rohm and Haas European technical director, Dr. Andrew Trapani. This session will focus on innovative, waterborne coatings systems that reduce VOC emissions, reduce risk of fire, and produce less hazardous residues, while contributing advanced performance attributes.
