The event will take place from 9:00 am to 5:15 pm at the PG&E Auditorium at 77 Beale St. The green building revolution has begun, but it has far to go. To combat global warming, our greatest challenge is to scale up -- to move beyond pilot projects and piecemeal solutions to green building on a massive scale. Green materials must be mass produced, construction techniques must be standardized, and the principles of green building must inform urban planning. Scaling up will create jobs and help ensure growth in the current economic downturn.
