DCI Highlights Historical Attractions Statewide Each Day of May

DENVER, April 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Downtown Colorado, Inc. (DCI), a nonprofit membership organization committed to building better communities through educational and technical assistance to Colorado's downtowns, commercial districts and town centers, is celebrating 2009 National Historic Preservation Month with 31 Days of Colorado Historic Preservation. Each day of May, DCI will focus on a different historical attraction in DCI and Colorado Main Street member communities across the state. Historical attractions include museums, walking tours, historic districts, and historical buildings. Some of the communities with featured historical sites include Arvada, Berthoud, Boulder, Brush, Castle Rock, Colorado Springs, Glenwood Springs, Granby, Grand Junction, Greeley, Holly, Lake City, Monte Vista, Montrose, Pueblo, Steamboat Springs, Trinidad, and Windsor.
