Multi-generational Jewish Community Center Transforms South Palo Alto Neighborhood with more than 350 Residences. PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Taube-Koret Campus for Jewish Life (TKCJL)is approaching its completion with final touches being added to meet its scheduled opening on September 1st. Developed by Sares Regis Group of Northern California for the Jewish Home in San Francisco, the Oshman Jewish Community Center and the Jewish Community Federation, the TKCJL is a collaborative initiative founded in 2001 to strengthen and enhance Jewish community life on the South Peninsula by supporting the development of a multi-purpose, intergenerational Jewish campus that will be open to the entire community. Upon completion, the $270 million project will be a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly campus to provide senior housing, educational opportunities, cultural experiences and recreational and fitness activities. The campus will feature 193 units of senior housing, multiple dining venues, along with a spa/salon, a state-of-the art fitness center, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, concert, play and lecture venues, music studio, library and business center as well as preschool and after-school programs for infants to teenagers. The 8.5-acre campus will be home to the 145,000 square foot, two-to-four story multi-use Oshman Family Jewish Community Center and the 310,000 square foot Moldaw Family Residences with independent and assisted living facility for seniors – all over a podium parking structure. The senior residences will be comprised of eight, four-story buildings and will include 193 units consisting of one-and-two bedrooms. The center will include Independent Living Opportunities, as well as assisted living units and a memory care facility, offering varying levels of senior care.
