Servidyne is a Gold Sponsor of this year's event, which will be held on September 2nd and 3rd at Atlanta's Cobb Galleria Centre. Additionally, the Company will present a special award to Harbor Group International (HGI) in recognition of its environmental/sustainability stewardship and energy efficiency practices, at a luncheon during the EXPO. As a special benefit for EXPO attendees, energy engineers from Servidyne will perform an energy audit for three winners of a drawing open to all registrants who take on the Governor's Energy Challenge by signing up to be an Energy Challenge Champion with the Georgia Environmental Facilities Authority (GEFA). Energy efficiency professionals from Servidyne will address attendees during four separate EXPO sessions. Barry Abramson, Servidyne's Senior Vice President of Engineering, will participate in panel discussions on "Realities and Priorities for Achieving LEED(R)," "Achieving Energy Efficiency through the ENERGY STAR(R) Program," and "Creating Sustainable Healthcare Environments." Brent Tracy, Servidyne's Director of Project Development, will be a member of the "Saving Green with the Tax Savings Man" panel. "Servidyne's charge is to optimize building efficiency," said George Plattenburg, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Servidyne. "We are proud to help our customers work toward a more sustainable future, and remain leaders of energy efficient practices." The EXPO, GEFA, and Servidyne have teamed up to offer the energy audits to the winners of the drawing. Servidyne's engineers will perform two Level 1 energy audits, which are preliminary energy audits and reviews, and one Level 2 energy audit, which is a detailed facility energy audit and plan, for the winners. "We are extremely pleased that Servidyne, one of our key partners, is joining with Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue’s very important current energy initiative to offer the energy audits to three lucky registrants," said Stephanie Armistead, General Manager of the GreenBusiness Works EXPO. "The findings of an expert energy audit, including the long-term savings a company can realize by following its recommendations, are extremely valuable. We're excited to see who will win!"
