MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The second annual HOMES BY ARCHITECTS tour is this Saturday and Sunday, September 19-20, 2009. The tour features 20 homes, throughout the Twin Cities, designed by members of the American Institute of Architects Minnesota (AIA Minnesota). The tour is about experiencing the architecture of the homes and understanding how dramatic to subtle design moves can provoke emotions and create a sense of place. Tour visitors can choose to tour homes by location to get a well-rounded tour and see a lot of variety. Hours of operation for the 2009 HOMES BY ARCHITECTS tour will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20. Tickets for the entire tour are $25 in advance and are available online at www.HomesByArchitects.org through noon on Friday, September 18, or $30 during the tour. Tickets for individual homes can also be purchased during the tour for $10 each.
