Bike Transit Center Fits City's Plan for Sustainability LONG BEACH, Calif., Oct. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The nation's first Bikestation Secure Bike Module, a new concept in cost-effective, compact, multi-use bicycle transit center, is contracted for installation at the Covina Metrolink station in Covina, Calif. While Covina will start with a single Secure Bike Module, the LEED 3.0-compliant design is scalable, allowing the city to add to the facility or add new Modules when required. The City of Covina Metrolink Station is the third busiest station in the Metrolink system, serving 15 cities in the eastern San Gabriel Valley, with average weekday annual boardings of 204,000 commuters.
