LEED Credit Assessment is designed for use throughout the life cycle of LEED projects to tally LEED credits, while identifying information required for documenting products for LEED credit eligibility. For example, in the MRc5 Regional Materials credit category, the LEED Credit Assessment tool calculates the percentage of construction materials that were extracted, harvested, recovered, and manufactured within 500 miles of the project. The tool then instantly tells the user whether his product selections qualify for no points, 1 point, 2 points, or even an Innovation in Design credit. By changing the parameters in the LEED Credit Assessment tool, and using what-if scenarios, GreenWizard users can “tune” their projects to optimize LEED credits.
