University of Redlands New Center for the Arts Earns LEED Gold Certification

REDLANDS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The University of Redlands has earned its first LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) Gold certification for its new Center for the Arts buildings. Dedicated in February, the Center for the Arts features 42,000-square-feet of space for the Art, Art History and Theatre Arts programs. The Center includes a two-story building for the Art and Art History departments, Ann Peppers Hall. The Theatre Arts Department facilities include an expanded Glenn Wallichs Theatre and the new Frederick Loewe Theatre, a Black Box theatre and performance space designed for performances with a more intimate feel.
