The product offers a simple detail for loft joist cuts and features a higher shear and bearing capacity than any I-Joist and many higher strength LVL alternatives. LP SolidStart LSL 225mm x 35mm (1.35E) offers predictable performance compared to traditional timber. It eliminates the need for costly ironmongery necessary to strengthen the ends of I-joists and timber reinforcement for traditional timber joists. A low, 6-8% product moisture content at the time of manufacturing gives the product an impressive 0.10% depth change per 1% variation in moisture content.
