SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SlipNOTĀ® Metal Safety Flooring is proud to announce that they will be exhibiting at Greenbuild 2012 in San Francisco, CA. The U.S. Green Building Council has been bringing industry leaders in environmental technology together in their annual Greenbuild Conference & Expo since 2002. As a first time exhibitor, SlipNOT is striving to exceed the green meeting guidelines, from reducing the materials used to recycling all trade show presentation materials for their exhibits year after year. SlipNOT Metal Safety Flooring manufactures a slip resistant coating that is applied to metal substrates such as stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum and steel products, converting facilities into safe working environments. SlipNOT provides a high traction, slip resistant surface that exceeds OSHA and ADA recommendations for coefficient of friction. SlipNOT products include floor plate, grating, aluminum plank, vault covers, stair treads, ladder rungs, drains and more. Dedicated to contributing to sustainability, SlipNOT aims to assist architects and engineers in efforts to design environmentally conscious concepts. SlipNOT products provide long lasting durability, resulting in less need to replace often; additionally, they are made with recycled materials to limit waste and energy consumption. By specifying SlipNOT green products, your project may be eligible for recycled content LEED credits. Some notable green projects SlipNOT has been specified in were the ASLA headquarters green roof in Washington, DC and High Line Park in New York City. In both applications SlipNOT offers public safety while simultaneously providing environmentally friendly product solutions. For the ASLA green roof, aluminum grating was specified to provide corrosion resistance. The High Line project incorporated stainless steel stair treads and nosings to maximize safety at park access points.
