Metl-Span roof, wall panels provide design continuity

Hamburg Casino in Hamburg, N.Y., is one of the highlights of the enormous Erie County Fairgrounds. In addition to the casino, the 275,000 acre complex includes the Buffalo Raceway horse track, an exposition hall, four parks, campgrounds and an event center. Metl-SpanThe two-story, 66,000 square foot casino facility and adjoining expo center utilize both Metl-Span roof and wall panels for design continuity. In addition, Metl-Span ThermalSafe fire-resistant insulated panels were also installed, necessitated by rigid fire codes. The 4-inch ThermalSafe panels have a one-hour fire rating and were finished in Regal Blue. 40,000 square feet of Metl-Span 4-inch CF42 Tuff Wall insulated metal wall panels, also finished in Regal Blue, was installed as well as 23,000 square feet of Metl-Span 4-inch CFR42 insulated metal roof panels finished in Polar White. Design for the project was provided by BHNT Architects, Buffalo, N.Y. The general contractor was Tedesco Construction Services, Inc., Lewiston, N.Y. The metal building system was provided by Varco Pruden Buildings, Memphis.
