This 47,000-square-foot facility included integrating 2,500 square feet of Kingspan Light + Air’s UniQuad® polycarbonate wall systems into the building envelope, diffusing uniform, high-quality natural daylight indoors with limited solar heat gain. The design team also selected a custom purple matte glazing and aluminum finish to the UniQuad assemblies, to achieve a cohesive visual identity.
This case study showcases how daylighting architectural elements directly support occupants’ athletic performance, as exposure to sunlight improves visual comfort, enhances alertness and productivity, and reduces fatigue.
