Since 1959, Garlock Equipment Company has been recognized as the leading manufacturer of quality equipment for the commercial roofing and industrial safety markets. Located in Plymouth, Minnesota, Garlock’s 77,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility features a highly skilled workforce utilizing many of the latest technology based machining centers used in the manufacture of our products.
For over 25 years, Garlock Equipment Company has been manufacturing a portable fall protection railing system called Railguard 200. This system is completely free-standing yet meets or exceeds all applicable OSHA standards for permanent railings. Originally the Railguard 200 product line was developed to keep roofing contractors from falling off flat commercial roofs and is still used in that capacity today. However, over the years we have also built product awareness and acceptance for applications inside of plants, with maintenance crews on commercial roofs or anywhere fall protection is required in the industrial sector. As this product line grew, Garlock developed more innovative safety products under the Garlock Safety Systems umbrella to meet the varied needs of industrial customers. One of our latest innovative products we designed is the SentryGuard Cantilever Gate. This is one such innovative example of addressing customer concerns of guarding loading dock operations yet not impacting valuable floor space in the process. For the future, Garlock is committed to growing the industrial safety market segment with even more new and innovative products. |
