The Fyre-Tec and Prime-Tec window design was originally developed and tested in 1972. These new designs were patterned and engineered from previously successful fire resistant products, but using state of the art roll-forming technology. The windows as currently produced utilizing up to 14 separate roll-formed sections, each unique to its function in the construction of the window. The "new series" was tested and Underwriters Laboratories Classified at that time. Through the ensuing years the windows have undergone several approved design reconfigurations that have enhanced their inherent fire protection and air and water performance capabilities
