Located deep in the beautiful Kootenay region of South-eastern British Columbia in Canada, we provide our clients with complete custom home design, timber frame consulting, mill work, timber frame cutting and raisings. Hamill Creek also provides complete material packages including wall and roof systems to support your construction process. We oversee the process from beginning to end, maintaining our proud reputation for quality at all times.
Environmental issues are at the forefront of our ethos and we take our responsibility towards the environment seriously. Hamill Creek timber frames are built from some of the finest quality, locally sourced wood in the world, and the Douglas-fir, western red cedar, spruce and larch that we use are locally harvested from sustainable and correctly managed forests. The process of crafting timbers begins in our sawmill, ensuring control of quality from the beginning. The timbers are then crafted by our skilled timberwrights, using the latest technology in timber frame joinery mixed with quality hand-finishing. We encourage all of our prospective clients to visit some of our homes in their area, and also our facility in Meadow Creek to meet our craftsmen and see the timbers being carved and shaped.
