John L. Doyle started his career in the roofing industry in 1980 in the manufacturing of thermoplastic single-ply membranes. In 1983, he moved to technical sales of roofing systems. Flex Membrane International Corp. was formed to manufacture and sell thermoplastic single-ply roofing systems. In 1990, John was the company's national sales manager; he then became president in 1995.
