Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

• Identify the benefits of including an air barrier in a building enclosure system.
• Describe the four barriers needed to protect a building against the effects of weather.
• Explain how properly designed and installed building enclosure systems, which include air barrier systems work.
• Describe several different types of air barrier system materials.
