Utilizing Radiant Cooling Solutions in Commercial Buildings

Learn key strategies for reviewing the different technologies of radiant systems available for building integration. This presentation will focus on the best-practices when designing a hydronic radiant system, the advantages of radiant systems along with their effect on occupant comfort, applications, potential energy savings, installation limitations and how to evaluate the testing/ratings for different radiant solutions.

Upon completion of this course, the Learner should be able to:

• Review/describe the different radiant systems available for building integration; including benefits, applications, and installation limitations.
• Describe the advantages of radiant systems including their effect on occupant comfort.
• Accurately describe the differences between high mass and low mass radiant systems. This will include performance, design limitations, testing/ratings and installation
• After attending this presentation, participants will be able to select the appropriate radiant system for the particular application.
