Reveal Cutter™—Factory Cut Precision Ceiling Tiles

June 05, 2007

While finishing his own basement, a Chicago engineer faced the daunting task of hand cutting countless reveal edge ceiling tiles. This inspired the development of the Reveal Cutter, a compact, handheld tool with a unique design that makes it easy and safe to cut reveal edge ceiling tiles with factory precision. The Reveal Cutter’s small, “pocket” design is smaller than the size of tape measure. It cuts in two directions preventing edge damage or tearing of corners. Each Reveal Cutter comes with two blades and each blade has 4 cutting edges. If one side of the blade becomes dull, the opposite side can be used to continue cutting tiles, without removing the blade. The blade is stored safely inside the cutter until needed. Simply loosen the wing nut, tilt Reveal Cutter to the side until the blade falls to its cutting position and re-tighten the wing nut. The Reveal Cutter is designed to cut multiple sizes. Flange thickness of .375” or .450” can be duplicated just by repositioning the blade. The Reveal Cutter is attractively packaged for POP display. Replacement blades can also be purchased separately. Provide a "Green" Waterproofing Solution for Your Next Application with MEL-ROL® LM

June 04, 2007

Hampshire, IL – MEL-ROL LM from W. R. MEADOWS is a single-component, polymer-modified, cold-applied, water-base, liquid waterproofing membrane ideal for below-grade vertical and horizontal seamless waterproofing applications. We have taken the same high quality rubber polymers found in MEADOWS’ successful MEL-ROL “peel and stick” membrane, and converted them into a heavy-bodied, high solids, quick drying liquid membrane. The product dries fast and is environmentally friendly. With MEL-ROL LM, installation time is reduced, utilizing either a spray or roller application. A variety of different protection courses, insulation boards or drainage boards can be imbedded into the membrane to create a superior waterproofing system. With the application of PERMINATOR® vapor barrier over the membrane, a composite system can be created that has the combined advantages of both “peel and stick” and fluid-applied membranes. MEL-ROL LM can be used on new and remedial waterproofing applications on concrete or masonry block substrates. Since the formula is water-based, MEL-ROL LM can also be used on both ICFs and “green concrete” applications. MEL-ROL LM is available in five-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums by special order. For more information, call (847) 214-2100, e-mail wrmil@wrmeadows.com or visit www.wrmeadows.com.
