The Architecture Program at the University of Calgary was founded in 1971, and is housed in the interdisciplinary graduate Faculty of Environmental Design. As one of ten accredited professional programs in Canada, the Program is distinguished by its commitment to architectural practice, sustainable design and technology, the contemporary city, socially responsible design, architectural theory, and the history of modern Canadian architecture.
