Tip #5 - Resistance Walls

We both know that the services you are offering are of the highest quality and that most people would benefit from working with you. BUT…there are still some walls of resistance between you and the future clients when it comes time for them to decide to work with you. You can not expect your future clients to remove those walls themselves, you need to do it yourself.
Tools to use: Make a list of the most critical common walls that need to be brought down so you can show your future clients early in your presentations that you will not pretend that those concerns don’t exist. Yes, you need to address those fears before your future clients bring them up. A few big ones that come to mind are all the horror stories that people have heard about working with an architect: it’s going to end-up two times (or more) than the budget we have, the building will be done two years later than what our schedule need to be, the design isn’t at all what we wanted, etc. You need to know what those are to avoid bouncing back from those walls.
