New Low-VOC Concrete Cure & Seal Formulated for Bubble-Resistant Appearance

January 10, 2013

MADISON, OH — January 10, 2013 — ChemMasters, Inc. has announced a new low-VOC concrete cure and seal. Polyseal™ EZ is a specially formulated, slow-evaporating, bubble-resistant cure and seal. It provides excellent cosmetics for decorative applications such as exposed aggregate and stamped concrete. It also provides high quality curing, sealing and dust-proofing for broom finished concrete driveways, sidewalks and patios. Polyseal EZ addresses the single most significant drawback of previous low-VOC cure and seal products: bubble formation from rapid solvent evaporation, exposure to solar radiation, and windy conditions. These early products required ideal application conditions including relatively cool surfaces, with little to no wind. To avoid bubbling, many concrete contractors had to schedule early morning or early evening applications to sidestep direct sunlight and middle-of-the-day heat. Polyseal EZ can be applied all day, even under windy conditions, solving scheduling problems while delivering an attractive and protective finish. Polyseal EZ Cure & Seal is solvent-based, meeting low-VOC requirements of the OTC and LADCO states, and throughout Canada. ChemMasters, Inc. is a 59 year-old manufacturer of specialty concrete chemicals used to improve, repair and protect concrete and masonry. The company is the acknowledged leader in the formulation and manufacturing of low-VOC solvent-based products for use in the states that require them. A state-of-the-art research and development facility is operated by ChemMasters to advance the science of concrete improvement. Email: info@chemmasters.net Web: http://www.chemmasters.net
