Benjamin Moore Teams With Make It Right To Make A Difference During This Year's Biggest Game

February 04, 2013

NEW ORLEANS, Feb. 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Benjamin Moore, one of the world's best-known paint brands, is once again joining forces with Make It Right in the continuing effort to rebuild the Lower Ninth Ward in New Orleans. The two organizations are bringing volunteers from around the country together for a day of service during this year's Super Bowl festivities in the Crescent City. Benjamin Moore, and a multi-city team of skilled painting contractors, will be painting one of the latest homes built by Make It Right. With many of these professionals coming from Baltimore to join a local volunteer crew—including several celebrities who support Make It Right—this round of pre-Bowl action is scheduled for Saturday, February 2, beginning at 11 a.m. According to Tom Darden, executive director of Make It Right, "Benjamin Moore has been a valued partner over the past five years, generously supporting our funding, supplying to date more than 10,000 gallons of paint products and even curating recommended color palettes that complement our architecture community. We fully appreciate all of the company's efforts, and are grateful that they've stepped up to sponsor this Super Bowl day of service, as well."
