The inaugural Emerging Designer Competition is the first ever national design competition celebrating the vast design talent among the next generation of designers of all disciplines.This new DX competition is open to all Canadian designers of all disciplines (interior design, architecture, industrial design, fashion, digital media, interactive design and more) who have worked a maximum of five years. The winning designer receives a monetary prize of $10,000, an exclusive opportunity to exhibit their work in an exhibition at the Design Exchange in January 2014, as well as a feature on www.azuremagazine.com. A two tier judging process ensures that submissions will be juried by both design professionals as well as authorities on culture, business and lifestyle.
