Andersen Launches iPadĀ® Apps for Home Style Pattern Books

June 21, 2013

The apps were designed to give users a true page-turning experience like the print and pdf versions of the Pattern Books. More styles will be added to the app collection in the future, including Prairie, American Farmhouse, French Eclectic, Modern, Shingle, Queen Anne, Ranch, Spanish Colonial, Tudor styles and more as Andersen expands the Andersen Home Style Pattern Book offering. The apps are part of the Andersen Home Style Library. Volumes in the library are accessible four ways: online as interactive resources; downloadable for free; spiral-bound hard copies may be ordered through the Andersen website of eight styles; and now the iPad apps bring the Craftsman Bungalow and Georgian Federal styles to the convenience of tablet technology. Each pattern book is dedicated to a single style and contains illustrations and descriptions of the architectural elements that make up each style including proportions, groupings, positioning, accent windows, color palettes, combinations and grille patterns; interior and exterior trim details; entry door, hardware and art glass options. With the Andersen Home Style Pattern Books, professionals and homeowners will find a common language to discuss the design of a home effectively and efficiently.
