Official event for Marmomacc 2013 - Opera on Ice: the event will be staged in the Verona Arena on Saturday 28 September with the Italian champion skater again in the forefront. Verona, 21 June 2013. 2012 World Champion, silver medallist at the 2013 World Championships, top of the world rankings with 17 medals won in eight years: Carolina Kostner, the queen of figure skating, will be the "testimonial" of Marmomacc 2013. The Italian champion athlete will inaugurate the 48th edition of the most important international exhibition of natural stone, design and processing technologies scheduled at VeronaFiere next 25-28 September (www.marmomacc.com). The initiative is the outcome of a collaboration agreement between Veronafiere and Opera on Ice: the spectacular show will return in the evening of Saturday 28 September to the Verona Arena with its ice stage hosting performances by Carolina Kostner and other stars of figure skating to the most famous Opera arias (www.operaonice.eu). Opera on Ice, as an official event of Marmomacc, will provide special offers for guests of exhibitors and visitors at the natural stone exhibition. During the inaugural ceremony of Marmomacc 2013, Carolina Kostner will present prizes to the winners of the International Architecture in Stone Award, the event held every two years now at its 13th edition, which celebrates the best architectural projects completed using natural stone.
